Bisexuality
#21
It definitely seems to be easier for most LGBTQ+ people in the UK and Europe than in the US to be comfortable being themselves if they're not the stereotypical straight man infected with toxic masculinity.

Masculinity and femininity are natural, not something you're infected with.  Neither is toxic.  Each can manifest widely, but in their essence they are different.
(Some of the gender narrative really goes off the rails)

I guess you don't know what "toxic masculinity" is now.

"the stereotypical straight man infected with toxic masculinity" is a rare breed indeed, hardly worth bringing up in conversation.
(Don't get sucked up into the feminist narrative which in general has little relationship to reality.)

I wish I believed it was rare in the US.

It's been decades (if ever) that I've seen a live breathing example.
(It does live in some peoples' imaginations though)

What about people (usually straight women) who live in controlling relationships?? Their partner is usually showing signs of toxic masculinity.

Some people think upskirting, and leering (not to mention groping) is toxic too.

I think there are boundaries - if you tend to do it all the time, or use it in a controlling, bullying manner, it probably is.

I've known men who live in a controlling relationship (with a woman).
