Inspired by the remarkably unusual sight of Owen Jones going on social media shirtless, I'm interested to know how often you've been baring your chests in the UK!  Comment whether it's unusual for you or not.

I am socially isolating at the moment, so I'm shirtless in the house (not hugely unusual) but it would be more unusual if I was outside in public like it. I'm stupidly self conscious unfortunately.

I'm naked in my house. I'll go shirtless to grab mail or my dogs but that's it.

Is this just another cunning attempt to find out if we've got innies or outies?  Spank

All of this makes me fairly certain that the UK general population will have to get central air conditioning before too long anymore. I mean, the UK population isn't used to very high heat as it is now. If the UK ever gets heat like a large portion of the US does, without air conditioning, you'd see thousands of people die of a heat stroke.

PLEASE don't make me have to add a rule to ban Fahrenheit.

We might only be in the 70s. You lot are stuck in the 1940s.

How about Kelvin?

You all still use miles and inches so I didn't know if you'd gone metric for temps yet. I'm sure if this were still the Sun Never Sets Empire you'd be basing your temps on whether Her Majesty cracked a window open or not.

It's all very worrying really but I did enjoy the name of the town which held the record for about 1 day.

Quote:Ballywatticock of course being adapted from the Irish: baile meaning ‘townland’, Uaitecoc meaning ‘with a big... thermometer’

Personally made me imagine a more Carry On version of Ballykissangel.
