The rule of the picture forums is, in a nutshell, 'New pics ? New topic !'
As you're aware.. we don't enforce this rigidly and have always allowed a bit of leeway. If suddenly, for instance, Cliff Richard is prominent in the news, and there's a burst of posting pictures of him then it's natural that people will just add pictures to an existing thread of pictures.
What we don't want, is a forum of 'superthreads' each of one famousmale with pages and pages of pics.
The aim of the forums is to have many topics. Not to just have a few mahoosive topics.
We'll continue to use discretion and common sense.. but if a topic reaches around 50+ replies, don't be surprised (or upset) if its closed down. Just start a new one.
