When did signing official legal documents and letters with a felt-tip (Sharpie) become a thing ?
I know Trump does it because they won't let him near sharp objects.. but is it everyone in the US now ?

Well,to put it mildly, its been an amazing endgame to an 'very interesting' presidential term ;not forgetting that of the 5-6 recorded casauties(incl. 1 cop on the day,1 cop by suicide a day or so later),the other 4 were pro-Trump rioters, incl. 1 who tazered himself in the balls and died of an immediate heart attack!

A majority of Americans yes, but a minority of Republicans.

Many of those troops would probably be on their side.
Opposing what I just wrote:

It's not the military (under the Joint Chiefs of Staff) who will face off to the mobs, rather it will be state national guards that will. The chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff has previously said that the U.S. military (Pentagon) will not be deployed onto the streets of the United States (again).

Really? How did he manage that? Was it deliberate?

That was a false report that got picked up. He did not die of testicular electrocution.

Available from Amazon and other online retailers.

I can see how this would appeal to his cult following.
(Thank God we never have to actually see him shirtless or in a tanktop/vest)

Trump has issued a statement calling on Americans to "ease tensions and calm tempers".
That's rich.

He is now the only president impeached twice. This time for trying to incite an insurrection against his own government.

The vote was 232-197 including 10 Republicans voting for impeachment (with 6 absent or abstaining?).
The 197 who voted against have to deeply reflect on their own character and values. (Yes, I know, DC is a cesspool, but still) The vote should have been 429-0.
The Senate is mulling over beginning the trial this coming Friday already.
On a separate matter, Klete Keller, a champion swimmer and two-time Olympic gold medalist, has been charged with several crimes in connection to his alleged involvement in the riots at the U.S. Capitol last week. The US Olympic and Paralympic Committee (USOPC) is awaiting confirmation of his participation before taking any appropriate actions of its own. All of Keller’s social media accounts have been disabled, but it’s not clear if that happened before last week’s riots or after. SwimSwam reported that before they were disabled, his social media accounts contained numerous posts supporting Donald Trump.

The trial will be after the inauguration. Apparently there's a push to do it soon though.
So they won't be evicting him from office, but can vote that he can never again hold public office (federal only?).

I think he's finished once he's a private citizen. I would love for us to save some money and cancel his pension and security detail.
After this catastrophe of a presidency, I really can't see the appeal of wanting Trump's name on anything anymore. Everyone's canceling on him and he might not be able to pay his legal fees. Apparently he's blocking Rudy's calls and instructing staff not to pay him.
Karma's enjoying a huge comeback.

As of a few weeks ago Trump collected $250 million from supporters for just that. However, there were reports that he was siphoning off a large part of that for his 2024 re-election campaign which may not be needed now. I'm forgetting the precise details, but what I wrote above is largely/approximately accurate. He may not have as much difficulty paying his legal bills as you think. (Did he always pay them in the past?) His adult children may need lawyers too.
Much to Trump's and the Republicans' dismay Sheldon Adelson died the other day, a major contributor to Republicans and Israel.
Speaking of Israel, Netanyahu was fond of putting photos of both him and Trump on his campaign materials because Trump is so popular in Israel. Lately the pics of Trump have been dropped. (Netanyahu has his own legal troubles; bribery, etc.)

$20,000 per day for what? A fumbling fool's utter incompetence?

I think the lawyers he's going to need AFTER he's out of office will eat up a lot of that funding. And lawyers like to be paid reliably.
