Coronavirus

I wasn't saying all that due to surprise. We hide all our presidents' real health. Just more to state that's where we are in this wonderful home stretch.

He probably needs Viagra too.

Despite his history I doubt he has had any kind of sex in years.

That wasn't very convincing Heinrich.

The one reservation I have about Trump dying now is that Trump really should die in prison.

A New York Times columnist, Nicholas Kristof, received a response from a reader that said: "my thoughts and prayers go out to the virus." LOL  (Kristof is not supportive of the comment.)

What Trump needs to do if/when he recovers is call for:
national mask mandate
social distancing
all-out contact tracing

Of course he won't.  He views that as weak.  But in the extremely unlikely event that he will have an epiphany from the experience then that is what he has to do.
Which means that if he's re-elected then we here in the U.S. are dead.

Given that any information coming out of the White House is highly unreliable, let alone that on Trump's health status, consider that Dr. Sean P. Conley is not only Trump's physician, but he is also a Navy doctor which means that Trump is his commander in chief.  Connect the dots.
Therefore "He's doing very well."

Update:

Trump has been given the steroid dexamethasone, Dr. Conley said.
The drug has been shown to help patients who are severely ill with Covid-19, but it is typically not used in mild or moderate cases.
Nonetheless, the doctors said Trump was doing better and they predicted that he would be discharged soon.

Oh really? I'm no doctor, but that doesn't sound like "He's doing very well."
Or maybe they're going to put an ICU in the White House?

Virus rate doubling by the day here now

6000 Friday
12000 Yesterday
23000 today

By my calculations, the end of the (UK) world is now 12 days away. LOL

Professor Whitty and his pal must be chuffed. A couple of weeks ago they said we were heading for 50,000 infections a day and the Daily Mail said they were mental and called for their sacking.

We're climbing back up here, too.

I was thinking about returning to the gym this week for the first time since March.
But I'm having serious reservations about that now.

Mayor DeBlasio will be closing all non-essential businesses, schools and daycare centers this week in 20 zip codes in Brooklyn and Queens because positivity rates rose above 3% in those zips (in one of them 8%).

Sounds like it's going to get worse before it gets better. Sad

It can't get better until we have a federal response. State by state is NOT working.

As of late yesterday, Trump decided he wanted to thank his supporters by driving by them in a small motorcade, which most commentators have said put the people in the car (at least three, the driver and two Secret Service people) at risk. In fairness, people in the car were wearing masks, including Trump (there is a picture), but it seems like he has to show "strength" to his supporters.  link: https://www.npr.org/sections/latest-upda...alter-reed

BREAKING NEWS......

We now don't know if yesterdays 23000 figure is accurate because nobody in the UK Government can use Excel properly.

Seriously.

The whole thing with Trump’s videos and now his drive outside the hospital is starting to get a little bit ‘Weekend at Bernies’!

LOL

It reminds me of when they used to wheel out half dead Soviet leaders in Red Square to pretend everything was "normal",

It's a very curious thing for a modern democracy to do though,  Confused

Well, yes, but he wants to be the only oligarch.  He wants to turn the US into an autocratic, fake theocratic, though all the minions/religious zealot bigots will not realize it's fake, dictatorship.  Luckily, he won't get that chance.

Nearly one-third of covid patients in a study had an altered mental state.
It appears that Trump has now lost his mind. Loon   We have a mad king.
