It's a sauce for the meat you goon. Last time I made it was for Thanksgiving Jägerschnitzel.
Note to Parsi: my friend Andrew makes a mean mushroom demi that I'd totally try with the recipe instead of meat stock. Now that I'm in my mid-thirties I'm paying more attention to my body and I'm trying to get healthier. Dairy is harder for me to cut than any meat.

Oh well then you should have said, I'd have no problem with that!
I'd just push all the mushrooms to the edge of the plate and eat the meat,

I've loved mushrooms ever since I was a kid. I love all mushrooms and I love them sauteed, in sauces, fried, stuffed, in a soup...
I particularly love shitakes in a stir fry.
