Review the most recent TV show you've seen

Seen a good show you want to tell people about? Or a bad one you need to warn people off?

Traditional or streaming.. New or retro...

Any tv show?

Watched Scam Interceptors on BBC 1. Rav Wilding is hosting it. Morning show, about victims of scams and stopping scams.

A good watch, it's on the iPlayer.

I recently caught up on The Responder and it was one of the best TV series I've watched in a long time. Who knew Martin Freeman had that sort of performance in him? Bow

Thanks for taking my suggestion, ladsnet.

Silo

I am watching Silo. It's based on the post-apocalyptic science fiction books by American writer Hugh Howey. Rebecca Ferguson is awesome in it. Can't wait to find out how the Silo come to be and if it is really toxic outside!

Primo

A cute coming-of-age story about a 16 year old. The uncles are a bit cartoonish but overall a very funny and enjoyable watch. Ignacio Diaz-Silverio is cute and looks like a younger Tom Holland at times.

Jury Duty

A social experiment of sort? All are actors except one in a fake Jury setting. It was funny and great to see the subject, Ronald Garland, has such a kind heart. He is easy on the eyes too!

I loved the books and I love the show. Really tense and atmospheric with great performances

Love and Death is a 7-episode mini series based on a true story. There's another adaptation called Candy, released last year and starring Jessica Biel but I wasn't aware of it until I watched this.
I watched it because of Patrick Fugit and Elizabeth Olsen. Both are very good but Elizabeth is outstanding. Set in the late 70s her character is a pillar of the community, housewife, church choir, etc. but she wants more out of life and decides to have an affair.
At some point the lover's wife discovers the affair and what happened then turned their small village upside down. Krysten Ritter is great in it and so is Tom Pelphrey. It is a strangely fascinating story, definitely not a happy story and it is also weird due to the fact that some of the people portrayed in the series are still alive.

Recommended especially because of Olsen's performance
