You definitely have a type!
So Police Interceptors Harry subdues Bargain Hunt Ben with his truncheon and Border Force Sam does the subsequent strip seatch. Got it.

Pardon the off topic question, but is it just me or do a lot of street views in UK TV shows look basically identical?

Mass migration from rural areas into urban centres happened quickly, starting with the Industrial Revolution and really picking up steam with the railway networks connecting all of Britain. So, all the terrace housing you see in those street views were built quickly within a relatively short span, because millions and millions of families needed affordable housing.

Yep.
In the industrial towns of the north and midlands, all the old housing looks like that. There are newer estates too that look more modern.
In London and the South everybody lives in Downton Abbey

Any (educated) English person who watches it knows the buildings and villages couldn’t possibly be set in Yorkshire.

Is the class system and snobbery as depicted in Downton Abbey in the early 20th Century accurate/realistic?

100%, although it’s blurred at the edges a little. The family, especially Lord & Lady Grantham, seem to take a progressive stance on a lot of issues. Which is a bit surprising, given that they don’t seem to have contacts with writers, thinkers, newspaper editors and so on.
A lot of people would’ve been intransigent and prejudiced back then. An Irish chauffeur who supported nationalists, a gay valet, they’d have been out on their ear. Bottom line, a lot of people would think and act more like Lady Violet.

Thank you jumbler.
I haven't watched it yet. Just put it in my Netflix queue.
