At 1 Euro 70 per vote you've really got to be pretty keen to be voting in Estonia, so I don't blame you. That's almost as much as the global vote cost which I think is 2 Euro per vote (cause the EBU gotta make some coins to pay for all this). I think UK vote is 15p each (€0.17 or €0,17 - are you a dot or a comma country?)
Also Bridges is a decent entry. I really, really like it. Hopefully it qualifies.

I would say that France has less of a chance of winning, irrespective of how good the song is this year, as they never sing of English (and why should they?), but Ukraine has won twice and Portugal and Italy have both won recently singing in their own languages, so who says France can't pull it off? Only thing holding it back is perhaps one-note staging, and not making enough of the massive stage.

La Zarra is brilliant such a strong song and good performer (and 5 of the last 10 winners were not in English so it seems to be becoming less of a barrier, I think Italy might be more likely to always sing in their own language than any other country but I haven't checked that) no idea what her staging will be like but everyone else seems to be going big, except for Loreen who seems to have brought a smaller version of her melodifestivalen staging. I'm less enamoured with Loreen as time goes on. Kaarija has a funny instagram post of him recreating Loreen's song with his crates as the Loreen toasty maker. I'm increasingly drawn to Belgium and Australia over Loreen's sheen, just for something more fun and a bit rougher round the edges.
There are so many other songs that I wouldn't mind winning either that aren't even in my top 10 like Georgia, Armenia and Israel.

I'm quite liking Azerbaijan right now. It's not exactly my normal taste (and the guys could do with a haircut), but …

And if these videos are indicative of the quantity of the production we're going to see on the night, I think I'm going to be quite proud …

Erm... That was their night. They didn't qualify.
Also Hannah Waddingham was freaking awesome, wasn't sure what to expect but she was brilliant.

Great atmosphere in the arena last night! Malta were robbed, but only a couple of crap songs got through.

Poor Mimicat but she's a battler and holds that stage with her sheer performance alone (cause Portugal don't seem to have spent any money on staging for her!), I'm sure she'll overcome the death slot.
Nah actually it'll be Sweden winning the Jury vote and Finland taking the telly vote with Finland winning overall.  I'd like to be surprised with an Austrian or Portuguese or Spanish or Slovenian or Czech (or French or Norwegian) win though. Starting to miss Jon Ola Sand, he seemed like he had a bigger heart than Martin Osterdahl.

Switzerland | Remo Forrer

Serbia | Luke Black

Cyprus | Andrew Lambrou

Italy | Marco Mengoni

Finland | Käärijä

Slovenia | Joker Out

Happy Eurovision day everyone.

Can someone explain what the requirements are to be able to represent your country? I thought well established singers couldn’t enter…surely if someone has already won it, that kinda goes against that rule, no?

Doesn't seem to matter if they are an established singer or group (Katrina & The Waves, Englebert Humperdinck spring to mind), although that seems to go against the ethos of the thing in my opinion...

Never been a “no established singers” rule. The bbc self imposed some odd restrictions about who could enter the uk heats in an effort to make it into some sort of “discovering new talent” thing but well established pop stars have always been involved.

The only nationality rules are that the majority of the song writers must be resident of the country they represent.
