Is anyone worried about the cost of their shopping?
A pint of milk has gone up, nearly £1. Used to be around the 50p mark.
Poundland - A lot more stuff isn't a £1.

At the moment, I’m not overly concerned though I have noticed prices, including milk, have generally gone up significantly. It’s not just the price of groceries, but energy, transport broadband etc. I’m dreading this years council tax bill too.

You're lucky that NI still benefits from EU rules.

I’m not overly concerned, but prices seem to be increasing every week. I did see Bisto in Tesco the other day over the £4 mark!

That is very unfortunate.
No veggies and your health will suffer too.

Meanwhile we don't even eat the billions of pounds we grow. Visit Minneapolis around August and we can grab you some corn (maize?).

New York City today is overflowing with fruits and vegetables in it stores. Don't have to wait for summer (although my blueberries are imported from Chile and strawberries from Mexico - they're currently out of season here).
The cost of producing meat is far more expensive than growing produce.
If I'm reading correctly that "We have no vegetables" then there is something deeply wrong with the British agricultural economy (which was alleviated during EU membership I understand).
