Prefer Ryan Hawley as far as Robert Sugden actors go but he's good looking.

Karl is a better actor than Ryan, I think he was excellent as Robert Sugden (and other roles I've seen him in since he left Emmerdale). Though Ryan looks more like the child actor who played Robert before Karl did - both are blond whereas Karl is darker - so the continuity was better in that case.

He’s been a favourite of mine right from the time I first noticed him in Peak Practice.
He also seems like an incredibly nice guy in interviews.
