Waterloo Road has come back onto tv after 8 years off the telly.
I'm wondering if you had watched the original run of Waterloo 2006-2015, will you be watching the new series?
I'm wondering about other tv shows that gone off the air and came back onto the tv, would you watch?
Like if CSI: NY came back onto tv, after 10 years off the tv, would you watch it?

I watched the reboot of Dallas. Not a patch on the original

If I liked the original I tend to be too curious not to watch the reboot.`
Some of the reboots I've watched are The 4000 (original was better), Battlestar Galactica (the 2004 series was better but also very different), Beauty and the Beast (Linda Hamilton beats Kristen Kreuk any day, but the original is very dated), Magnum (enjoyed both), Lost in Space (the reboot is better`but also much more serious than the original) and MacGyver (liked both leads).
Some reboots I haven't watched, Charmed, Bionic Woman, Doogie MD.
So yes, I'd probably watch a reboot.

All Creatures Great and Small.
The reboot is far superior.

I really want to watch the reboot of Twin Peaks, as I enjoyed the original (and the film) so much, but I never seem to get around to it. Anyone seen it - is it any good?

The Queer as Folk reboot was a pale imitation.
I loved Quantum Leap and mean to check out the reboot, but not got around to it yet.

There's a thing, an Office/QAF UK v US version.
The 2022 version of Queer As Folk was canceled after 1 season. Am aware that the 2022 version pish.
Something like Grange Hill being done, has to have enough of a difference to feel fresh.

Crossroads (reboot v 1) was quite good, but then they ruined it. Neither were a patch on original Crossroads (1964-1988)

The Larkins reboot of Darling Buds of May was quite good (not seen the original) but looks like it's heading to be cancelled

I would watch a reboot for sure.. I am enjoying the reboot of CSI Las Vegas at the moment.. I watched the Dallas reboot and whilst it wasn't the same as the original I thought it was quite good, at the end of the day the original Dallas was an institution so no reboot was ever going to be as good. I always go in with a fresh view on the show that has been rebooted.. and give it a chance.. if you go in thinking it will be as a good as the original and then don't like it you might be doing it an injustice..

most of the reboots havent been good.. charmed wtf?? quantum leap is meh so you not missing much..
i fail to see how reboots are profitable - these series ended because they ran out of steam/stories.. or people got fed up of watching them (ie ran its course)..

I’d like to see a reboot of Blake’s 7. The original was so long ago, they could take the characters to different places

I enjoyed it, as it was just as quirky and off the wall as the original series. Like the original, once you started to watch it drew you in and made you want to watch it to the end just to try and work out what the hell you had experienced.

The Quantum Leap sequel, it's NOT a reboot, is very popular in the US. It already got renewed for a second season.
