We've allowed it to get out of hand since the new site launched, but despite numerous subtle and unsubtle hints it appears that the message isn't getting through and every topic is being constantly derailed by the same bunch bickering and wandering off-topic.


As a temporary (and maybe trial) measure, I'll open a Ramblechat topic where you can just prattle on to your hearts content, and as long as you stay in the rules and don't start trying to murder each other, it will just be left to grow. Like a tumour.


For the other, subjected topics, please stick to the topic.
If you don't.. replies will be deleted, and if you persist, then your posting permissions will be suspended.

Ordinarily you go through the warning levels first.  Remember those?

There’s not much point making threats if you don’t carry them out.

We don't want to warn people we want people to engage on the forum, that's the whole point!

But when topic after topic is derailed to general chit chat it can and does prevent from people engaging!
