To embed a YouTube post into your topic use the yt tags or button (or use the Insert Video dropdown button)


EXAMPLE

for the youtube video at
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q0A6ERtLDy4

you would use

Code:
[yt]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q0A6ERtLDy4[/yt]

to give..




NOTE: YOU MUST USE THE PAGE URL SHOWN AT THE TOP OF THE BROWSER PAGE (with the 'watch' bit).  DO NOT USE THE LINK GENERATED FROM THE 'SHARE' BUTTON IN YOUTUBE.  THIS WILL NOT WORK.


To embed an Instagram post into your topic use the insta tags or button

EXAMPLE

for the instagram post at
https://www.instagram.com/p/B-ZkNX3lsLR/

you would use

to give..




To add a twitter post into your topic use the twit tags or [img]jscripts/sceditor/myinsertbuttons/twit.png[/img] button

EXAMPLE

for the twitter post at

you would use

*known issues / bugs

There is currently a problem with the board software, where the input editor converts the youtube/instagram/twitter URL into a hyperlink when you paste it in. This stops the embedding from working.

The 2 ways to solve this are...

- Once pasted, click the URL then the 'unlink' button in the toolbar.
- In your UserCP, Edit Options, then tick  Put the editor in source mode by default.
