Not really. There were only 2 footballers in the final round. If everyone who'd voted for Mount + everyone who voted for the other 10 footballers in R1 voted Mount in the final, he'd have won it by a mile.

Maybe I inferred "favourite" wrongly. I assumed it was based on looks or sex appeal (which is the major driver of the Picture and Video forums), rather than personality or worthiness in terms of gay rights or visibility.

I stand by my assertion that this competition was not won by the objectively most handsome or sexy guy. If Kit hadn't appeared in Heartstopper and was, say, a football player, do you honestly think he'd ever have appeared in the forums, let alone won any contests on them?
